CH Regency’s Black n’ Bling Bling
(Bling)
America’s #1 Miniature Schnauzer in 2006, Bling was the first Black and Silver female to achieve this honor. She was also Best of Breed at a National Specialty. Made in all the right ways, she has that ‘little extra sparkle’ that makes her special.
CH Regency’s I Believe in Miracles
(Miracle)
This is how she got that name.
After Breeding Miniature Schnauzers for over 35 years, I experienced my first episode of a disease called "Parvo Virus" This is a virus that is lethal for both very young dogs and very old dogs. The dogs are very very sick before they die. We had 2 litters of 5 week old puppies and 2 -12 week old puppies. Over a 3 week period, one by one they all got sick and after 5 days each of fighting to save them, they all died-except for one. It was the saddest time of my entire dog breeding life. We thought Miracle would just be the 'last' to die. So we put her in a very big puppy pen that was elevated to about chest high, with tiny stuffed toys she thought were her littermates. I instructed everyone that they could not touch her unless they totally washed and alcoholed their hands and arms, so instead, as we each passed by and she ran over to stand up on the side of the pen for a friendly pat on the head, we would just put our heads down and she would kiss our faces. We tried not to become attached to her because we knew that she would most likely succumb as did all of the other puppies. Time pasted, and low and behold, she never got sick! don't ask me why. I knew then that it was OK let loose and love her and decided I would keep her forever just because she was a survivor, and she had the sweetest cutest temperament ever! She ended up growing into a beautiful showdog and earned the name, "I Believe in Miracles". Because of her pampered puppyhood, she is totally spoiled and we like her that way!:)
The ultimate ‘showgirl’, Miracle was Best in Sweepstakes at two National Specialties, both Great Western and Montgomery County. At Great Western, she also won the Terrier Sweepstakes Group, the first for a Miniature Schnauzer. Finishing her Championship in short order, she went on to a Specials career, beginning 2010 with 7 out of 10 Best of Breeds during the highly competitive Florida Circuit. She loves the ring and it shows. At home now, she is our sweet clown, making us smile at least once every day!
CH Regency’s Shine On
(Jewels)
A daughter of CH Regency’s Black n’ Bling Bling, I could not have asked Bling to bring me anything more. Jewels is the epitome of feminine elegance. She also won Best in Sweepstakes at the AMSC Great Western Specialty and finished her Championship with a Group One . She is a simply beautiful Black and Silver.
CH Regency’s By Design
(Dior)
Best in Sweepstakes at the AMSC National Specialty in Great Western, and then on to win the prestigious Terrier Sweepstakes Group. Dior went from there to garnish two more Specialty wins and finish her Championship with a Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best Opposite sex at our AMSC Roving Specialty in Knoxville. She is a true ‘Classic’
CH Regency’s Monte Carlo Rose
(Haley)
One of the famous “Rose Girls”, Haley is a very square, compact little package who finished her Championship practically undefeated. We look forward to seeing her offspring.
CH Regency’s American Beauty Rose
(Sticks)
The latest “Rose Girl”, we couldn’t be happier with her. Again, finishing quickly, with a Specialty win, Sticks has joined an elite group of Regency top winning Females. We also look forward to her additions to our Breeding Program.
CH Regency’s McKenna Kan
(McKenna)
A sizable girl who flew around the ring, McKenna also finished her Championship with a Group One-this one, at nine months of age! McKenna was ‘specialed’ briefly and won several Best of Breeds.
CH Regency’s Licorice Twist
(Candy)
A gift from my special friend, Shirley Fry of Texas, Candy is our Black Twister daughter. She has produced lovely, typey puppies, including Regency’s Nite Flight, who is now in China winning for his new owner, Mr Bo Yu.
